Client-Side Experience
During my time as a Consumer Marketing Intern at WebMD, I had the chance to work with five fantastic teams, each with its own focus—newsletters, site fronts, guides, social media content creation, and social media management. As I worked on various assignments from each team, I was able to take on different challenges and learn something new every day.
My main project was all about the Nourish by WebMD homepage. I got a chance to use PageBuilder, AIM, and Microsoft Excel to create and sync content.
On the backend, I got to try my hand at analyzing data using Adobe Analytics. I was able to use SEO tactics while crafting "guides" to enhance other web pages and drive more traffic to specific links.
One of the coolest parts was teaming up with the social media team. I learned about Sprinklr and how to moderate comments on WebMD's main Facebook page. It was great to be a part of such an interactive experience!
Another highlight of my internship was being able to write and edit specialized newsletters for specific health conditions - you can find a link to one of them on the left!
Overall, my time at WebMD was incredibly enriching, and I'm thankful for the amazing experiences that expanded my skillset and knowledge.
